Chloe And Her Dad: Chapter 1

Chloe couldn't believe that she'd been in California just twenty four hours. So much had happened in that time.

Here she was in her father's house. She hadn't seen him in ten years. And since she was thirteen, the last time she'd really seen him was when she could hardly remember. But she had been excited to make the big transition. She'd been living with her mom for what seemed like forever in Connecticut. Yet she'd heard all these stories about her dad who was a producer in Hollywood. Her mom had kept her protected from all that by insisting that she be the sole custodial parent in the split up between them back when Chloe was three.

Now her father had managed to get the rights to being her father and had 'requested' that she come live with him for the next year. After the year the courts would decide who Chloe should live with though they would be more inclined to listen to what she wanted as she turned fourteen.

So her mom had put her on a plane and sent her across the country. Actually her mom was a bit relieved because she had just met someone who for the first time in years really interested her. It would make things so much less complicated if Chloe were not around.

But Chloe's mom had not said anything about this as they hugged at the airport. They both cried and said that they would call each other weekly. Then they both turned toward their new lives.

When the plane had touched down in LA, Chloe had been met by her dad and hustled to a limousine. He was full of questions about the flight and her mom and what she had packed to come and live with him. He also said that he had made sure there were plenty of clothes for her at his house. How had he known her sizes? she immediately asked. He had made all the requisite inquiries he had replied. Apparently he was very concerned that she have the 'right' clothes for her life in California. She was soon to find out that as a movie producer he had plenty of connections for all the right fashions and such for a teenager. And little did she know how he had prepared for her move.

Her first surprise was that they didn't go straight home but went first to the office of her dad's private doctor so that she could have a checkup. He wanted to make sure she was in good health so that his ex-wife couldn't accuse him of neglect or anything weird. Her dad was savvy to all things legal having been in the motion picture business for so long.

Her checkup went well. She was given an injection of vitamins since the doctor found that she was somewhat anemic. As instructed he added an array of hormones to the dosage and prescribed some pills for Chloe to take as vitamin supplements. She was at that stage in development where she needed some supplements in her growth cycle. Her dad had wanted to make sure she didn't miss out on anything in her development. He was extra careful that way.

Chloe was thirteen and just experiencing the first stages of womanhood. She'd had her first period just six weeks ago and her mom had helped her through that.

Chloe's dad knew all this and was determined to help her fit in with the California life that he was so much a part of. So he'd instructed the doctor to make sure she was healthy and progressing naturally in her development.

She was given the full checkup and sent home with the pills and a healthy chart.

When they got home her dad showed her around the mansion--or at least it seemed like that to Chloe, and then to her room. By this time and still on east coast time she was exhausted and hardly heard her dad when he said that he'd gotten her some clothes but she would have to decide if she liked them. All she wanted to do was sleep. She felt flushed and tired at the same time.

"Ok, you take a shower and then hit the hay," her father said.

She did what she was told and slept for a full twelve hours.
